School Community Council and Land Trust Plan

As required by law of the State of Utah, South Valley School has a Community Council that helps parents/guardians of students be involved in the decision making at our school, thus improving the education of our students.

We are a small school and, rather than hold elections, we welcome all parents who would like to be involved.  Please email the principal if you’d like to join our council or simply join us at our next meeting.

This council is directly involved in determining how our School Land Trust Monies are spent each year.  They meet regularly and make recommendations that are considered by the entire council.  Meetings are held here, at South Valley School.  Click here to see School Community Council Rules and Procedure.

For information on joining our School Community Council, please call the school at (801) 565-7592.
