As required by law of the State of Utah, South Valley School has a Community Council that helps parents/guardians of students be involved in the decision making at our school, thus improving the education of our students. This council is directly involved in determining how our School Land Trust Monies are spent each year. They meet regularly and make recommendations that are considered by the entire council. Meetings are held here, at South Valley School. They adhere to the following Rules of Order and Procedure:
- South Valley School Community Council shall meet at least quarterly during the school year.
- Each member will behave ethically and have a civil discourse based on respect and mutual trust.
- Decisions will be made with a majority of members agreeing to the action taken.
For information on joining our School Community Council, please call the school at (801) 565-7592.
