  2. Community Activity Updates:
    • Began new job sites 1/21
    • Job Coach Luncheon - success. Honored Papa Murphy’s and Village Baker. Thank you for the treats Aimee!
    • Donor Appreciation Luncheon - soda shop
    • Staff Christmas luncheon
    • Christmas for Kids
    • Thanksgiving Heroes
    • Food Drive - huge success
    • Continue with Harvest Donation Program - Pizza Hut
    • Hands Together Theater - Feb. 20th
    • Hawk Watch International - very educational
    • TBRI Training - Aimee next Friday
  3. Flying Around the States Event - February 19, 2026
    • Each class will present on a state 
  4. Technology Update
    • Continuing Tech Tuesday - mini trainings
    • Tech Coach meets with staff
    • 80 new Chromebooks ordered
  5. Incident Command Update
    • First Aid Training/Refresher - Jan. 27th 
    • Jessica meets monthly with safety reps
    • Mock lockdown drill with WJPD and staff - went well
    • Monthly drills
  6. Upcoming Events: 
    • Staff Wellness Week and Appreciation - Week of Feb. 2nd
    • Staff Appreciation Week - May 4th
    • Talent Show - Feb. 27, 2026
    • HOPE Week - Feb. 9th
  7. Land Trust: “Land Trust refers to funds generated from state-owned trust lands, typically used to support specific educational initiatives within schools."  Additional $6,000.00 possibly.
    • Proposal: This year’s budget was $27,259.72. Staff are using their budgets for accessing the community and making purchases. SCC agrees to the same focus and to maintain plan for next year’s Land Trust Plan: Support Staff in Community, rec center passes, supplies for independent living skills, and technology.
    • Team signed LAND Trust Council Signature Form 
  8.  TSSA: Stands for “Teacher and Student Success Act” funding, which is designed to directly improve teacher performance and student achievement through targeted investments in professional development, technology, and student intervention.
    • This year paid for 80 Chromebooks
    • Continue with paid stipends for technology coach, team leads, PLC (takes time away from their planning time),  and extracurricular coaches.
