The South Valley School Wood Shop program creates furniture items mainly for schools within the Jordan School District such as bookcases, cabinets, desks, etc. Selected qualified students between 9th and 12th grade come to South Valley's Wood Shop for a 90 minute class period. They are the primary workers under the supervision of two excellent teachers. There are many values of our Wood Shop Program. South Valley provides a positive working environment for special needs students. Some skills we focus on are: team work with peers, respect of others, following instructions, honesty, dependability, working safely, and developing good work habits. Anyone can come purchase our items; come take a look at our many products available.
