2023 - 2024 School Year

WELCOME TO THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR

Chart your course logo

Welcome to South Valley School!  I’m excited to announce our theme this year is Chart Your Course. Our staff is dedicated to helping students chart their course to become independent citizens and live their best lives with the appropriate resources.  I am beyond thrilled to start my first year as the principal of South Valley and to work with our incredible staff, students, and school community. We are also thrilled to have a full-time assistant principal, Jessica Wilson who will be supporting our teams. Please feel free to contact either one of us with any concerns, suggestions, or thoughts.  Our staff supports our students to increase their independence, self-esteem, and social skills - just to name a few. A majority of our learning takes place in the community and we are grateful for the wonderful business partnerships we have throughout Jordan School District and the greater Salt Lake Valley.  As a thank you for all they do for us, please consider patronizing, shopping, and eating at these businesses:

UTA, Salt Lake County Parks & Rec, Saver’s, All-A-Dollar, Village Baker, Smith’s Marketplace, Home Depot and Smith & Edwards all at the corner of 9000 South and Redwood Road, Village Baker in South Salt Lake, Village Inn at Daybreak, IFA, Peterson’s Marketplace and Papa Murphy’s in Riverton, Hampton Inn, Sam’s Club, Chili’s and Cinemark at Jordan Landing, Cal Ranch in Draper & West Jordan, Harmon’s in South Jordan, Taylor Andrews Academy Beauty School, DI, Helm's Ace Hardware and Calvary Thrift in West Jordan, The Humane Society in Murray, The Food Bank in Kearns, Fairfield Inn and Belgian Waffle in Midvale, The Kimball Center in downtown Salt Lake City, and Gene Fullmer Rec Center and Macey’s in West Jordan.
